Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Napa Valley region, Northern California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 - 18:00), 13-week assignment. Daily census approximately 35 patients in a 2-room department serving adult and geriatric populations.

Highlights:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams in a well-established imaging department
• Work with advanced digital and 3-D mammography technology including Hologic equipment
• Opportunity to utilize Epic charting system in a modern healthcare setting
• Biopsy procedures and needle localization experience preferred but not required
• Two pre-approved time-off periods available during assignment
• May have the opportunity to work at affiliate facilities in the region

Requirements:

• Valid California Radiologic Technologist license required prior to submission
• ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Skills in 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, and PACS required
• Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, stereotactic biopsy, and outpatient settings preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
