Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87109

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), with option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 6:1.

• 13-week travel assignment in a 30-bed Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Flexible scheduling with option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Epic charting system experience required
• First-time travelers welcome with 2 years of experience preferred
• 12-hour orientation provided with additional onsite module training

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license accepted; pending licenses must be obtained prior to start date)
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Proficiency in core Med/Surg skills including IV management, wound care, telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, and patient care for various diagnoses
• Willingness to float within scope to like units as needed
