Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Albuquerque, NM 87109
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. 4-6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period. Patient ratio of 2:1.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a women's hospital Labor and Delivery unit
- First-time travelers welcome with 2-3 years of experience preferred
- 15-bed unit with 100-200 facility births per month
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Flexible scheduling with option for 36 or 48-hour work weeks
Requirements:
- Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending licenses accepted, must be obtained prior to start)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP (pending certifications acceptable)
- Experience with patient ratio of 2:1
- Charting system experience required
- Skills in antepartum care, labor and delivery, triage of obstetrical patients, external fetal monitoring, assisting with vaginal and high-risk deliveries, circulating for C-sections, and recovering C-section patients
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
