Job Opportunity – Physical Therapy Assistant – Illinois

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Senior living community in Illinois

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week, 89-day assignment through November 14, 2026

Requirements:

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Current certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Active state professional license in good standing
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
• Completion of specialty-specific competency exam with 80% or higher score
• Comprehensive health screenings including TB testing, immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B), and pre-employment physical
• Background check and drug screening completed within required timeframes
• Strong communication skills and empathy when working with senior populations
