Job Opportunity – Occupational Therapist, Home Health – Hood River, OR 97031

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Hood River, OR and surrounding areas

Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30), 5 days per week. One-on-one patient visits with up to 6 patients per day. 30 productivity points standard. No weekend requirement. No on-call requirement.

Highlights:

• Home health setting providing occupational therapy services to patients with diverse diagnoses including dementia, Parkinson's disease, ALS, MS, orthopedic post-op, and post-stroke conditions
• Manageable caseload with well-organized patient groupings to minimize travel time; occasional travel radius of approximately 60 miles per day
• Mileage reimbursement provided at IRS standard rate with free parking
• Business casual or scrubs allowed; flexible dress code in a professional home health environment
• EPIC charting system with remote client access for home health documentation and Rover phone app
• Local candidates welcome; competitive compensation regardless of proximity to assignment location

Requirements:

• Active Oregon and Washington occupational therapy licenses required (Washington license in hand preferred; Oregon may be pending)
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required
• OASIS documentation experience required
• Current BLS/BCLS certification
• Reliable personal transportation required for patient home visits
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Experience with National Patient Safety Goals, billing, and OASIS documentation preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
