Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Acute Rehabilitation – Napa, CA 94558

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Napa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 16:00), every other weekend required. 40 hours of orientation provided. Float to medical-surgical and orthopedic units as needed. Call may be required depending on patient census.

Highlights:

• Work in a 14-bed acute rehabilitation unit with an average daily census of 8 patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
• Provide care for patients participating in 3 hours of daily therapy (PT, OT, and SLP) for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic conditions
• Manageable patient ratios of 5:1 across all shifts
• First-time travelers welcome; 13-week assignment through November 23, 2026
• Opportunity to work with specialized rehabilitation equipment including Golvo, Sera Steady, and Roll-on devices

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand; pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of acute rehabilitation experience required (hard stop requirement)
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Time off requests limited to no more than 7 days
