Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Tulsa, OK 74104
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend coverage required.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a busy Emergency Department with 135 daily visits
- 38-bed Emergency Department treating all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- EPIC charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 in a combined adult/pediatric emergency setting
- Opportunity to work in a Stroke and STEMI certified facility with diverse case mix
- 36-hour orientation provided to ensure successful transition
Requirements:
- Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required in hand at submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- EPIC charting system experience required
- Proficiency in emergency nursing skills including trauma care, critical interventions, triage, and management of diverse patient populations
- Must be willing to float to like units within scope as needed
