Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Tyler, TX 75708

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio of 3:1. Every other weekend required. 24-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Emergency Department position serving all patient age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• 14-bed unit with average daily census of 34 patients and approximately 32 visits per day
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience required
• 91-day assignment with one pre-approved time off period available
• Collaborative environment with full interpretation services and advanced clinical resources

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN license or compact license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in emergency nursing skills including trauma care, procedural sedation, triage, IV management, and critical care interventions
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
