Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Torrance, CA 90503

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Torrance, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend flexibility required. Patient ratio 2:1. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment at a 356-bed acute care hospital with 200-300 births per month
• Work with low and high-risk labor patients including TOLAC, antepartum with multiples, hypertensive disorders, and diabetic conditions
• Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided

• Precepting skills preferred; opportunity to support and mentor team members
• May float to Mother/Baby unit and potentially to another facility location as needed

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM in lieu), BLS, NRP
• LA County Fire Card obtained within the last 30 days
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with circulating and recovering cesarean sections, applying internal monitoring devices (FSE and IUPC), NST, blood transfusion, and high-risk deliveries
• Baby Friendly protocols and newborn care experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
