Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Patient ratio 1:2. 24-hour orientation provided.

• 13-week travel assignment in a specialized cardiovascular intensive care unit
• Flexible scheduling options with either 36 or 48 hours per week
• Manageable patient ratios of 1:2 for quality patient care
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 16-bed unit with daily census of approximately 10 patients, caring for adult and geriatric populations
• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac technologies and post-operative cardiac surgery patients

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license accepted; pending licenses must be obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Experience with patient ratio of 1:2
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, cardiac drip titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-cardiac surgery care
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
