Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with variable start times at 7:00 or 9:00. Weekend coverage required. On-call distributed equally among nursing staff every 6 weeks (up to 6-8 shifts per 6-week period, including nights, evenings, and weekends). May need to cover one night shift within contract as needed. 91-day assignment.

Highlights:

• Work in a 277-bed acute care trauma facility with a daily census of approximately 25 cases
• Gain experience across multiple specialties including trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general surgery, GU, and GYN procedures
• Utilize Epic charting system and state-of-the-art equipment including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Free parking provided with 40 hours of paid orientation
• Opportunity to work with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Serve diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements:

• Valid California RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2-3 years of recent OR nursing experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required, with specific experience in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Extensive OR skills including trauma cases, total joint replacements, spinal fusion, robotic surgery, vascular procedures, and laparoscopic cases
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to float to affiliated facilities as needed
• Availability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Time off requests must be submitted at time of application
