Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (variable start times: 06:30-15:00, 08:30-17:00, or 11:00-18:30). Call coverage to be determined based on department needs. Approximately 30 cases per day across 8 operating rooms. 40 hours of orientation provided.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a community hospital setting serving diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technologies and a well-rounded case mix across general, vascular, robotic, and neuro procedures
• 1:1 patient ratio providing focused perioperative care
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and Epic charting system
• Pre-approved time off available (one request per contract)
• May float to affiliate facilities in the region to support patient care needs

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Well-rounded OR skillset including laparoscopic procedures, total joint replacements, hernia repairs, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and arthroscopy
• Experience with vascular, robotic, and neuro procedures preferred
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
