Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with weekend coverage required (2 shifts per pay period, flexible with department needs). Patient ratio 1:6. Float required as long as competencies are met.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 48-bed Medical Surgical unit with diverse patient population
• Work with a wide range of patient diagnoses including sepsis, COPD, post-operative care, trauma, cardiac conditions, diabetes, and more
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system with 24-36 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations in a dynamic acute care environment
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must reside outside 100-mile radius from location
• Proficiency in skills including IV management, blood product administration, central line care, BiPAP/CPAP, wound care, tracheostomy care, and isolation precautions
