Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Dialysis – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, plus on-call. Patient ratio of 2:1 during days, 1:1 during nights and weekends. Orientation includes 24 hours of training.

Highlights:

Work at a Level II trauma, 200-bed acute care facility with Comprehensive Stroke and Chest Pain accreditation
Provide hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis to inpatients in both the dialysis department and at bedside in other units
Utilize Tablo dialysis machines for hemodialysis and SLEDD procedures, and Baxter Claria Homechoice for peritoneal dialysis
Collaborate with ICU nurses to support and troubleshoot SLEDD machines
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
First-time travelers welcome; 13-week assignment with potential to orient new dialysis staff

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of dialysis nursing experience required
Current RN license (Idaho or Compact state license required at time of submission)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with AV fistula and graft cannulation, acute care inpatient dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis/CAPD
Proficiency with hemodialysis equipment, troubleshooting alarms, and managing dialysis-related complications
Epic charting system experience preferred
Must reside outside 100-mile radius from facility
