Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Obstetrics – St Francis, KS 67756

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Northwestern Kansas, near the Nebraska and Colorado borders

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 guaranteed hours per week. Flexible 6 on/8 off scheduling available upon request. Participation in OB call schedule as assigned. Central Time Zone.

• Critical Access Hospital setting with 16 licensed beds offering Acute Care, Swing Bed services, and Obstetrics
• 24/7 access to Avel ecare Emergency system with trained nurses and physicians available for consultation, EKG interpretation, and medication compatibility support
• Comprehensive perinatal care including Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and newborn services with postpartum hemorrhage cart on-site
• Opportunity to cross-train and support Med/Surg or Emergency Department as needed
• May have the opportunity to work charge shifts, providing leadership and coordination of unit operations

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Kansas or compact state
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Current Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (Advanced or Intermediate)
• Minimum one year of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications required
• Current immunizations including MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, and seasonal Influenza
• Ability to perform essential physical functions including standing for extended periods, lifting, and responding rapidly to emergencies
