Job Opportunity – Mammography Technician – Redding, CA 96001
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Redding, California
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This is a 90-day travel assignment ending December 13, 2026.
Highlights:
- Perform specialized mammography imaging procedures in a Diagnostic Imaging Center setting
- Work collaboratively with radiologists to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders
- Participate in direct patient care and facility quality and safety initiatives
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages while managing complex and sensitive patient and family situations
- Contribute to compliance with local and federal regulations in a supportive healthcare environment
Requirements:
- Current Mammography Technician certification required
- Valid state licensure or certification to practice as a radiologic technologist
- Experience performing mammography procedures and specialized radiographic imaging
- Ability to deliver quality and safe care to patients across all age groups
- 12-hour orientation period upon assignment start
