Job Opportunity – Senior Endoscopy Technician – Mission Hills, CA 91345

Start Date: September 7, 2026

Location: Mission Hills, California – Outpatient Endoscopy Center

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (no weekends, no holidays, no on-call). This is a day shift 5x8-hour schedule with 34-36 daily procedures performed by 3 gastroenterologists.

Highlights:

• Work in a standalone outpatient endoscopy center with 3 procedure rooms and a collaborative team environment
• Perform upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, polypectomy, biopsies, PEG placements, banding, balloon dilations, Bravo, and X-track procedures
• Strong scope reprocessing skills required with focus on high-level disinfection of procedural equipment
• Work with Olympus equipment including CV-190 processor, CLV-190 light source, and 190s scopes
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations with ASA classifications 1, 2, and 3
• This is a travel-to-permanent opportunity with potential for direct hire after a 13-week contract

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of endoscopy experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• SGNA education completion for GI/Endoscopy OR Certified Surgical Tech (CST) with 3 years endoscopy experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with colonoscopes, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP scopes, fiber optics, and flex sigmoidoscopes
• Proficiency in high-level disinfection, instrument processing and cleaning, and sterilization/disinfection protocols
• Epic and Provation charting system experience preferred
• Back table setup and room setup experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
