Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Pocatello, ID 83201

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (05:00 - 17:00), 13-week assignment

Highlights:

Labor and Delivery unit with 200-300 births per month
High-risk antepartum and teaching hospital environment
Comprehensive obstetrical care including triage, high-risk deliveries, and C-section support
First-time travelers welcome with 36 hours of orientation provided
Opportunity to work with advanced maternal care including magnesium sulfate therapy, insulin drips, and anticoagulation therapy
Experience with IUPC placement, central line maintenance, and isolation precautions

Requirements:

Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
Experience with electronic charting systems required
Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
Skills in sterile vaginal exams, C-section circulation and recovery, and high-risk delivery assistance
