Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87109

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend required. Patient ratio of 6:1.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit with a daily census of 24 patients
• Flexible scheduling with options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• First-time travelers welcome; 2 years of experience preferred
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• 12-hour orientation period with onsite module completion
• Work with diverse adult and geriatric patient populations

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending licenses accepted if obtained prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in core Med/Surg skills including IV management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, blood product administration, and central line management
• Willingness to float within scope to similar units as needed
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
