Job Opportunity – Inpatient Pharmacist – Topeka, KS 66606

Start Date: August 31, 2026

Location: Topeka, Kansas

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:00), shift times may vary. 13-week assignment with 4 weekends required. Daily census of approximately 100 patients. 24-hour orientation provided.

• Inpatient pharmacy role serving diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with Epic charting system in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment
• First-time travelers welcome with 2 years of experience preferred
• Comprehensive support services including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more
• Opportunity to utilize advanced pharmacy skills including pharmacokinetic dosing, anticoagulation therapy, and high-alert medication management
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment

Requirements:

• Active Kansas state pharmacy license required at time of submission
• PharmD or RPh degree required
• BLS and ACLS certifications current and in hand
• 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in sterile technique, IV push medications, Pyxis system, therapeutic medication monitoring, and renal/pediatric dosing
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
