Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Northern California coastal region

Schedule: Day shift, Sunday through Wednesday, 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 - 18:30). Daily caseload of 8-20 patients depending on volume. On-call coverage required at least once per week. Flexibility required for schedule changes within reason.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 150-bed acute care hospital
• Combined department offering women's imaging, vascular, and general ultrasound services
• Work between main hospital (3 rooms) and outpatient center (3 rooms) with floating required
• Epic charting system in use
• Diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Free parking provided after orientation

Requirements:

• Valid California Ultrasound Technologist license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• ARDMS certification required (AB, OB, BR, or FE)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in general, vascular, and OB/GYN ultrasound procedures preferred
• Experience with neonates, infants, and pediatrics preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Must submit requested time off at time of application
