Job Opportunity – Physical Therapist, Acute Care – Portland, OR 97225

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00), 13-week assignment. Weekend coverage required, anticipate 2-4 weekends per month. Block scheduling required. Floating between units expected.

• Daily census of approximately 180 patients with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:

• Valid Oregon state Physical Therapy license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience required
• BLS certification required and must remain current
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
