Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Outpatient Clinic – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour weekdays, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (schedule may vary during flu season, with shifts potentially starting as early as 6:00 AM and ending as late as 7:00 PM). Weekend coverage is not typically required. This is an 8-week assignment.

Highlights:

• Work in a Caregiver Health Services outpatient clinic setting within a 200-bed acute care hospital
• Provide occupational health services including health screenings, fit testing, vaccinations, injury/illness prevention, and communicable disease exposure management
• Utilize Epic charting system in a modern healthcare environment
• Free parking provided for all staff
• Float to sister facility approximately two Wednesdays per month for variety and professional development
• First-time travelers accepted with at least one year of RN experience

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• COHNS certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with occupational health, immunizations, telephone triage, and urgent care preferred
• Must be willing to float between sister facilities as needed
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel position
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
