Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:45 - 19:15). Variable shift start times may include 7am, 9am, 11am, or 3pm. Weekend coverage and call required per unit needs. 13-week contract with 40 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Acute care facility with 8 operating rooms and daily census of 25 patients
• Diverse surgical specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, robotics, general surgery, GU, and GYN
• Level I Trauma Center experience – critical requirement for this position
• Advanced surgical technology including daVinci Xi robotic system, Stealth Navigation Station, and microscope equipment
• Opportunity to work with a comprehensive range of procedures from total joint replacements to complex trauma cases

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of surgical tech experience required; 5 years preferred
• Active California state license preferred; compact license accepted if in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required; CST and NBSTSA certification strongly preferred
• Level I Trauma Center experience required – non-negotiable
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, and robotics required
• Previous travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Proficiency with case cart, crash cart, and scrubbing procedures required
• Experience with craniotomy and airway management preferred
• Must be willing to float to nearby facilities as needed
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
