Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:30), 182-day assignment through March 9, 2027. 40 hours of orientation provided. One pre-approved time off request available.

Highlights:

• 26-week travel assignment in beautiful Northern California
• Work with advanced imaging technology including Hologic 3D mammography systems
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, and needle localizations
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in a comprehensive radiology department
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Potential for cell phone reimbursement up to $50 monthly for work-related use if facility does not provide communication devices

Requirements:

• Active California state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Proficiency in digital mammography, 3-D mammography, and digital quality assurance procedures
• Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy procedures
• Knowledge of Hologic 3D systems, PACS, and Synapse/Hologic preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
