Description
Job Opportunity – Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Eureka, California
Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30). Call coverage required; manager will discuss specifics. Weekend call only. Float to outpatient department as needed.

- 13-week travel assignment in beautiful Northern California
- Reduced non-billable orientation – 0 hours versus standard 40 hours
- Work with comprehensive nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans, HIDA scans, and ventilation/perfusion studies
- Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- One pre-approved time off request available
Requirements:
- Active California state license or compact license (must be in hand at submission)
- ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required; CNMT certification also accepted
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience; at least 1 year required
- Proficiency in 3-phase studies, exercise/rest protocols, gastric emptying, PET scans, and IV starts/maintenance
- Experience with storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
