Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cath Lab – Albuquerque, NM 87102
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30), with 8-12 days of call per month. Every 4th weekend required. 13-week assignment with 36 hours of orientation.
Highlights:
- Cardiovascular specialty opportunity in a dedicated cardiac catheterization laboratory
- Work with a daily census of 20-30 patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
- Epic charting system utilized for documentation
- First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
- Up to 4 days of pre-approved time off available
Requirements:
- Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending licenses accepted, must be obtained prior to start date)
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (pending acceptable)
- RCIS certification preferred
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations
- Proficiency in procedural sedation monitoring, circulating and scrubbing procedures, and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Ability to take call for STEMI and vascular emergencies
- Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
