Description
Job Opportunity – X-Ray Technologist – Portland, OR 97213
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Portland, Oregon
Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (11:30 AM - 9:00 PM). Minimum 1 call shift per month required. No weekend requirement. Patient ratio 1:1. Contract duration: 91 days (approximately 13 weeks).
Highlights:
- Short-term acute care facility with 418 staffed beds and high daily exam volume (150-200 exams per day Monday-Friday)
- Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
- Diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Opportunity to work with specialized equipment including O-arm, Panorex, and hybrid units for ERCP procedures
- Free parking provided; scrubs in any color accepted
- First-time travelers and one-year experienced candidates welcome
Requirements:
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience
- Surgery and Emergency Department experience required
- O-arm and fluoroscopy experience strongly preferred
- Valid state license or compact license required at time of submission
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Trauma Level I and community hospital experience preferred
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
