Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Oncology – Anchorage, AK 99508
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Patient ratio of 5:1. Weekend coverage required based on staffing needs. May float to similar units within scope of practice. Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week period.

- Oncology experience preferred but not required; chemotherapy administration experience is a plus

- First-time travelers welcome with at least 1 year of nursing experience
Requirements:
- Active Alaska RN license or compact license (pending licenses accepted but must complete application within 48 hours of signing)
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Experience with medical/surgical nursing, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, isolation precautions, and rapid response/code teams
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
