Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Dietitian – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:00), no weekends, no call. Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period.

Highlights:

13-week travel assignment at a 407-bed Magnet-designated acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center
Work with diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements
Opportunity to work in Alaska's premier healthcare facility with Epic charting system
Free parking provided; scrubs provided by facility
Pediatric experience preferred; both adult and pediatric clinical experience valued

Requirements:

Active RD/RDN certification required
Valid state license (pending licenses accepted; allow 10-12 weeks for processing)
Minimum 3 years of clinical dietitian experience, including enteral and parenteral nutrition expertise
Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers accepted
Epic charting system experience preferred
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declinations not accepted)
Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
