Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Mission Hills, CA 91345

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Mission Hills, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Patient ratio 1:2. Floating between like units required. Guaranteed hours with potential for one call-off per two-week pay period.

• 91-day travel assignment at a 377-bed Magnet-designated acute care facility
• Work with neonatal and adult patient populations in a busy Labor and Delivery unit with approximately 12 daily census
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• Block scheduling available per manager discretion

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, LA City Fire Card (within 30 days)
• Experience circulating for cesarean sections in the operating room
• Preferred: Experience at a facility with minimum 200 deliveries per month
• Epic charting experience required
• Must be willing to float between facilities within the state
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
