Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Roswell, NM 88201

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Roswell, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30), with option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend required. 13-week assignment (91 days).

Highlights:

• LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit with 11 beds providing comprehensive maternal and newborn care
• Couplet care model with most newborns rooming in with parents
• 3:1 patient ratio for optimal care delivery
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience required
• Flexible scheduling options with 36 or 48 hours per week available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license accepted; pending licenses acceptable if obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with laboring patients, couplet care, and triage
• Community hospital experience preferred; charge experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the area
