Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neuro Telemetry – Lubbock, TX 79410
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Lubbock, Texas
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), 13-week assignment. Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Patient ratios: 1:4 days/nights, 1:5 weekends.

- Work in a 379-bed Level II Trauma Center with a Comprehensive Stroke Center designation
- 29-bed Neuro Telemetry unit with 4 dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit beds for continuous EEG monitoring
- Collaborative interdisciplinary team approach with dedicated mentors for new caregivers
- Experience with diverse neurosurgical and neurologic patient populations including stroke, trauma, craniotomy, and spinal cord injury
- EPIC electronic health record system in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with 1:4 patient ratios and telemetry/remote monitoring
- Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, neurosurgical care, and stroke protocols
- Level II Trauma Center experience preferred; community hospital experience preferred
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Ability to float between units as needed
- Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
