Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (17:00 - 05:30). Every other weekend required. 2:1 patient ratio. 40 hours of orientation provided.

Highlights:

  • 277-bed acute care hospital with a 26-bed Intensive Care Unit and daily census of 20 patients
  • Level II Trauma Center treating cardiac, neuro, medical-surgical, and trauma patients
  • Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
  • Advanced critical care capabilities including CRRT, TAVR, hypothermia protocols, IABP, Impella, and EVD management
  • Free parking and royal blue or navy blue scrubs for RNs
  • 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours (facility may call off once per two-week pay period)

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
  • Level II Trauma experience required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Willingness to float between like units and occasionally to a sister facility approximately 16-20 miles away
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Clean background check required
