Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Outpatient Surgery – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (primarily 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, occasionally 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, no holidays, and no call. Start times may vary between 6:00 AM and 8:30 AM depending on daily assignment. PACU nurses are expected to stay until the end of the day as shift relief is not available.

Highlights:

• Work in an outpatient surgery setting covering Pre-Op, Phase I PACU, and Phase II Recovery
• Treat diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage various outpatient surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, urology, ENT, ophthalmology, and more
• Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or call requirements
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients across 4 rooms
• 91-day assignment with up to 7 days of approved time off

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Experience with ambulatory/outpatient procedures, conscious sedation, pre-op assessment, and PACU phases I and II
• Skills in procedural sedation administration/monitoring, pain management, and post-operative care
• Flexibility to float to Main PACU if needed
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• First-time travelers accepted
