Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room – Newark, NJ 07102

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Newark, New Jersey

Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. On-call expectations include a minimum of one weekend per month (24-hour call) and 1-2 night call shifts (8-hour shifts). 90-day assignment with 12-hour orientation.

• Cardiovascular operating room position specializing in open heart procedures
• Work with advanced cardiac cases including coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG), heart valve replacements (MVR, AVR), and complex cardiovascular procedures
• Circulate on cardiac cases as well as general and vascular surgical procedures

• Travel nursing opportunity in a major metropolitan medical center

Requirements:

• Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state eligibility
• CVOR certification required
• Minimum two years of cardiovascular operating room experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system
• Demonstrated experience circulating on open heart cases, specifically CABG and valve replacement procedures
• General OR and vascular surgery experience required
