Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Room – Albuquerque, NM 87102

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), with option for 36 or 48 hours per week. At least 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule. Patient ratio of 5:1.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a busy Emergency Department with 40 beds and approximately 90 daily census
• First-time travelers welcome; 2 years of emergency nursing experience preferred
• Opportunity to work in a trauma-capable facility with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Flexible scheduling with option for 36 or 48-hour work weeks; overtime available after 48 hours
• Care for diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• 24-36 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico or Compact state RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Experience with trauma care, arterial line management, ventilated patients, central line care, IV vasopressors, and dysrhythmia management
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
