Job Opportunity – Radiation Therapist – Santa Monica, CA 90404

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Santa Monica, California – beachside acute care hospital

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30), treating 20-30 patients per day. No call required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• 266-bed acute care hospital in a beautiful beachside location
• Work with Varian machines and Epic charting system
• Treat diverse patient populations including neonate through older adult
• Advanced treatment modalities including IMRT, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, and external beam therapy
• 13-week travel assignment with potential for extension
• Orientation provided with 40 hours allocated

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (T) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiation Therapy
• Valid state and national certification
• Experience with Epic or similar charting systems
• Proficiency in adult and pediatric acute care, IMRT, external beam therapy, and radiation safety protocols
• Skills in custom molds, tumor localization, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, and treatment planning systems (Pinnacle or Eclipse preferred)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
