Job Opportunity – Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer – Petaluma, CA 94954

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Petaluma, California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 13-week assignment with weekend coverage required

Highlights:

• Work with a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Diverse patient population including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Advanced echocardiography procedures including TEE, Watchman, mitral clips, and bubble studies
• Epic charting system experience utilized in a community hospital setting
• 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment

Requirements:

• Current BLS, CCI, ARRT Sonography, and ARDMS or CCI certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of cardiac sonography experience
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level I experience required, Level II preferred
• Proficiency in reporting, TEE, Watchman procedures, mitral clips, and bubble studies
• Experience with transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), stress echo (pharmacologic and treadmill), portable studies, and procedures in ICU/ED settings
• Valid California state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Clean background check required; two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
