Description

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room – Anchorage, AK 99508

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), 40 hours per week with guaranteed 70 hours per two-week period. On-call and weekend coverage required. Floating within scope may be required to meet operational needs.

Requirements:

Active Alaska Registered Nurse license (pending licenses accepted with strong preference for license in hand; Compact license must be in hand at submission)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of CVOR nursing experience
Proficiency in cardiovascular procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, atrial septal defect repair, and MAZE procedures
Experience with cell saver, blood product administration, laser safety, radiation safety, and wound management
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
