Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Santa Monica, CA 90404

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Beachside acute care hospital in Santa Monica, California

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), every other weekend required. Float to postpartum as needed. Facility may call off once per two-week pay period.

• Elevated seasonal winter rate available for assignments starting between specified dates
• 266-bed acute care hospital with beachside location serving approximately 200 deliveries per month
• 9 labor/high-risk rooms, 4 antepartum rooms, and 3 triage rooms
• No on-call required; Epic charting system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM, and either AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM (AHA certifications required for ACLS/BLS)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Skills required: assist with vaginal delivery, circulate for C-section, high-risk antepartum care, sterile vaginal exam; scrub for C-section preferred
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
