Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Santa Monica, CA 90404

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Beachside acute care hospital in Santa Monica, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required. May float to postpartum as needed. Facility may call off once per two-week pay period.

• Elevated seasonal winter rate available for contracts starting during peak season
• Comprehensive unit with 4 antepartum rooms, 9 labor/high-risk rooms, and 3 triage rooms
• Approximately 200 deliveries per month with diverse patient population
• No on-call required; Epic charting system
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring, and either AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM (AHA certification required for ACLS/BLS)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Skills required: assist with vaginal delivery, circulate for C-section, high-risk antepartum care, sterile vaginal exam; scrubbing for C-section is a bonus
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
