Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30), 4:1 patient ratio

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a progressive care unit setting
• Manageable 4:1 patient ratio on nights with comprehensive interdisciplinary support

• 24-hour orientation program to ensure successful onboarding

Requirements:

• Active California or Compact RN license (Compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience; at least 1 year in progressive care or stepdown required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, central line care, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP management, and IV therapy
• Experience with cardiac drip management, heparin protocols, and post-cardiac procedure care
• Must have worked in the discipline within the last 6 months with current work references
• Willingness to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Flexibility to float to sister facilities as needed
