Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Six weekend shifts required per six-week schedule. No on-call required. 91-day assignment through January 4, 2027.

• Work at a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 181 staffed beds and 15 Labor and Delivery rooms

• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Experience with 1:1 patient ratios
• Proficiency in labor and delivery skills including neonatal resuscitation, fetal monitoring, cesarean section support, and high-risk deliveries
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
