Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Torrance, CA 90503

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Torrance, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend flexibility required. Patient ratio of 2:1. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• Opportunity to work with both low and high-risk labor patients, including TOLAC, multiples, hypertensive disorders, and diabetic conditions
• May float to Mother/Baby unit and potentially to sister facilities in the region

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM in lieu of), BLS, and NRP
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Precepting skills preferred
• Strong clinical skills including circulating and recovering cesarean sections, applying internal monitoring devices (FSE and IUPC), managing postpartum hemorrhage, blood transfusions, and newborn care
• Ability to perform non-stress tests, set up delivery tables, and provide comprehensive labor and delivery care
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
