Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:30), 182-day assignment through April 5, 2027

Highlights:

• Six-month travel assignment in beautiful Northern California coastal community
• Work with advanced imaging technology including Hologic 3D mammography systems
• Perform a variety of procedures including screening and diagnostic mammograms, stereotactic biopsies, and needle localizations
• Comprehensive 40-hour orientation to ensure smooth transition
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations in a supportive interdisciplinary environment
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active California state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Proficiency with digital mammography, 3D mammography, and digital quality assurance procedures
• Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy procedures
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Familiarity with Hologic 3D, PACS, and Synapse systems preferred
• Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during assignment period
