Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist – Rifle, CO

Location: Rifle, Colorado

Schedule: Day shift, three 12-hour shifts per week with a 6 on / 8 off rotation. Guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday requirements depend on rotation schedule. No call required.

Highlights:

• 91-day assignment with consistent scheduling in a critical access facility
• Outpatient diagnostics during day shift with varied inpatient acute care responsibilities
• Patient population includes pediatric through geriatric (no neonatal)
• Common diagnoses include COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, COVID, and ventilator patients
• Work with Dräger and CareFusion Vela ventilators and Meditech EMR system
• Comprehensive orientation including two shadow shifts covering day and night operations

Requirements:

• Active Respiratory Therapist license in Colorado
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential preferred over CRT
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required; 5+ years preferred
• LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) experience required
• Demonstrated experience performing PFTs (Pulmonary Function Tests) required
• Ability to float across patient populations from pediatric through geriatric
