Job Opportunity – Certified Surgical Technologist – Portland, OR 97213

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). On-call requirements include 16 hours of weekday call and 24 hours of weekend call every 4 weeks. Weekend shifts required in lieu of weekday shifts as needed for department coverage. Patient ratio 1:1.

• Adult acute care operating room with comprehensive surgical specialties including bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, gynecology, general surgery, colorectal, urology, plastics, vascular, thoracic, and endovascular procedures
• Advanced oncology surgical case focus with state-of-the-art technology including Da Vinci Xi and SI robotic surgical systems
• 418-bed short-term acute care facility with 21 operating rooms and daily census of 60 patients
• Epic charting system with complimentary parking and scrubs provided
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
• 91-day travel assignment with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Current certification from NBSTSA or ASATT required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Valid state license or compact license required at time of submission
• Broad knowledge of surgical equipment and procedures across multiple specialties required
• Experience with Da Vinci robotic systems, endovascular procedures, and hybrid room experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
