Description
Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – Missoula, MT 59802
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Missoula, Montana
Schedule: 7 days on/7 days off block schedule. Thursday through Wednesday. Weekday shifts: 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM (9.5 hours). Weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday): 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12 hours). On-call required one night per week (9:00 PM - 6:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:1.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment at a 209-bed short-term acute care Level II Trauma teaching hospital
- Work with advanced imaging equipment including Siemens Magnetom Vida 3T and GE SIGNA HDE 1.5T scanners
- Reduced non-billable orientation (0 hours vs. standard 40 hours)
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Free parking and scrubs provided in applicable units
- Serve diverse patient populations including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics with daily census of 160
Requirements:
- ARRT MR certification and BLS required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Epic charting system experience required (hardstop requirement)
- Siemens equipment experience required (hardstop requirement)
- Valid state license or compact license in hand at time of submission
- Trauma Level II experience preferred; community hospital experience preferred
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
