Job Opportunity – Physical Therapy Assistant – El Paso, TX 79935

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: El Paso, Texas

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 35 guaranteed hours per week. 89-day assignment through January 2, 2027.

Highlights:

• Travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Provide direct physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Work with residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to restore function and promote healing
• Deliver patient-centered care while monitoring treatment response and documenting progress
• Preferred post-graduate experience in skilled nursing facility environments

Requirements:

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs
• Active BLS certification issued through American Heart Association (AHA)
• Valid professional license with no current or prior discipline
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and caregivers
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and therapeutic exercises
• Comprehensive background checks, health screenings, immunizations, and competency documentation required
